Görüşmelerin ve imzaların ardından da aile fotoğrafı çekimine katılan Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, ABD Başkanı Donald Trump ile görüştü.

Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’ın geldiğini gören Trump’ın, ellerini açarak beklerken Erdoğan için aynen şunları söyledi “Dostum, Bu adamın ne kadar çetin olduğunu biliyor musunuz? Bu adamı seviyorum.

Trump ve Erdoğan arasındaki samimiyet güne damgasını vurdu. Ayrıca Erdoğan bir çok ülke lideri ile de görüşme yaptı.

Liderlerin imzaladığı Beyanda, şöyle denildi. “Her birey için hoşgörü, haysiyet ve fırsat eşitliği talep ediyoruz. Irk, inanç veya etnik kökene bakılmaksızın bölgenin herkesin barış, güvenlik ve ekonomik refah içinde hedeflerinin peşinden gidebileceği bir yer olmasını güvence altına alıyoruz.

Bu mirası uygulamak ve sürdürmek için kolektif olarak çalışmayı, gelecek nesillerin barış içinde birlikte gelişebileceği kurumsal temeller oluşturmayı taahhüt ediyoruz. Kalıcı barışın geleceğine kendimizi adıyoruz”
